Poland is Now Considered to Have Some of the Best IVF Specialists and Fertility Clinics in Europe.

A short flight from most European countries, Poland's central location within Europe, combined with its comparatively lower cost of living, has resulted in a surge in medical tourism, with people visiting to combine exploring this fascinating country with making huge savings on IVF and fertility treatment. 

Another definite factor in Poland's popularity as a destination for IVF abroad is the fact that the Polish people are very visible, all over Europe, but particularly Germany and the UK, and many of us have got to know them as colleagues at work.   The fact that many Polish people in the UK choose to travel back to Poland to see their own doctors and dentists has reassured us that if anything, the standards of health care are higher in Poland!

Fertility Clinics can be found in many cities in Poland, some of the best ones, as you would expect, in Poland's Capital City, Warsaw.  Warsaw is a vibrant, lively city, with an incredible history, and is definitely worth exploring while you are there.  One particular highlight for me was the Old Town, which was razed to the ground by the German's during the 1940's Occupation, and then painstakingly recreated from the original plans, funded by the Soviets.  To look at it, you really would never guess that the rebuilding was only comparatively recently completed!

There are a number of very reputable IVF clinics in Krakow, which is one the most stunning cities in Europe, and well-worth a visit in its own right.

Wroclaw is another Polish city with a strong reputation for Fertility Clinics, a city with a much history, beautiful architecture, and a far more laid-back feel to it than Warsaw.

If you choose Poland as your destination for IVF abroad, there are plenty of activities to do while you are there, and it is as popular with skiers, climbers, bird-watchers, hikers as it is with the stag-party crowd!
