One factor that everyone will be accutely sensitive to is, of cause, price.  Prices vary considerably, with the US being far more expensive for IVF treatment than any other country we have researched.  There are, in fact, some countries where the cost is less than a quarter of that charged in the US.

However, another factor that you will quickly find to be of equal importance is the availability of IVF and its variatiations.  Due to ethical considerations, the fertility treatment you want may not be available in your own country.  Many couples from around the world are forced, each year, to become medical tourists, due to certain fertility procedures being unavailable in their more conservative countries.  You may be one of those couples who require embryo freezing or would like the embryo to be screened for hereditory illnesses.  In this case, IVF abroad may be your only option, regardless of the cost, or any savings you may or may not make.
